Knitting Projects Sneak Peak

I realized that I’ve been writing a lot lately about business thoughts/ideas/musings and ignoring much of the rest of what I’ve been up to. Like my progress at reading a book a week (I’ve finished seven and have two more on the go). Or the fact that I’ve relaunched my Etsy Shop, stocked with hand knitted hats and crocheted cowls. Or the fact that I have even more knitting projects and pattern ideas on the go.

Here’s a sample of what’s currently in my shop, stacked neatly on my desk. The post it notes are to keep track of weights.

Here’s a sample of what’s waiting to be finished (just need to pick out and sew on buttons), so that I can list ‘em. Consider this your sneak peak. There’s some pretty awesome stuff here, including cowls made from Malabrigo and Noro.

For me (or for friends or, well, just because), I’m also working on some other knitted projects. This one is knit up in some lovely chunky Malabrigo that I picked up as a treat after a dentist appointment. Yes, I’ve been known to bribe myself with yarn. The majority of the work is done and it just needs to be finished before I show pictures of the final product. How could I resist those lovely pinks and reds?

Lastly, I bought some of Fleece Artist’s Peter Rabbit angora yarn late last year from the Knit Cafe. It was love at first touch, even if I didn’t have any plans for it. This isn’t a final pattern idea but its part of the process of working towards one. The picture below is your hint (although it needs to be finished and blocked before you’d get the full idea).

I have some more pattern ideas rattling around in my head. I have bunches of post its and scraps of paper sitting on my coffee table waiting to be written up into something more cohesive. I also have a couple of notes open in Evernote to help me keep track of them. Once I have my current WIPs finished, I’m going to dive into doing some more designing.
