Amen to that. I&#039;ve only ever had the bog standard stupid questions, such as &quot;Where do you see yourself in five years&quot;, &quot;Why do you want to work here?&quot; and so on so forth. My sister, on the other hand, got this genius question during her &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.graduate-jobs.com/&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;graduate jobs&lt;/a&gt; hunt:

&quot;What character from Friends would you be?&quot;

Tiny bit of a problem with that, as she&#039;d never seen the programme (still hasn&#039;t) and could barely even tell you the premise. (Still can&#039;t) From what she told me, she allowed the interviewer to sit in an uncomfortable silence for a few seconds and then asked how the question pertained to the job. 

Needless to say, she was shown the door pretty quickly.

No doubt it was one of those questions designed to reveal a little of the candidate&#039;s personality and it certainly did. It revealed that my sister has little patience with people who make stupid assumptions.</description>
