Jananas

Jason and I went out for a bike ride yesterday evening, ostensibly to buy dinner but really to get out and enjoy the nice weather. We came home and found Romeo sitting on the seat of a neighbour’s motorcycle. She’d originally been curled up asleep, but she perked up when we got close. We were trying to plan how to sneak into the house to grab the camera, but she hopped off to follow us in. So all we have is this quick cellcam picture that Jason was able to grab.

I think that I’m writing more about Romeo (and becoming one of those people who blog about their cats, oh dear) because we know that she has a terminal illness. Every day and every cute thing has a new found urgency. She was on death’s door in December with congestive heart failure. The fact that she’s survived this long and is still in reasonably good health has been a blessing – even the vet was surprised.
